What is SAT EXAM?
Most colleges and institutions base their admissions decisions on the SAT entrance exam. The College Board developed and delivers the SAT, a multiple-choice test that is taken on paper and pencil.
The SAT is used to assess a high school student’s preparation for college and to give universities a single piece of comparative information with which to evaluate all candidates. Standardized test results will be compared to your high school GPA, courses you took, letters of recommendation from teachers or mentors, extracurricular activities, admissions interviews, and personal essays by college admissions officers. The weight that SAT scores are given during the college application process varies depending on the institution.
SAT EXAM TYPES
There are two types of SAT Exams:
1. SAT 1 OR SAT General Exam
(3 – Hours exam based on Mathematics and English)
2. SAT 2 OR SAT Subjects Exam
(An Exam that focuses mainly on one of the subjects:

What to Bring on Exam Day
- Your testing device that has been fully charged and has the BluebookTM application installed
Face covering (if required at your test center). - Your current admissions ticket.
a valid photo ID. - Pencils or pens for writing on paper.
- An appropriate calculator for the exam’s Math section (there will be an embedded calculator available to use within Bluebook).
Items You Should Bring
- A watch without an alarm sound (The built-in timer in the Bluebook application lets you know exactly how much time is remaining, but you might still wish to time your break.)
- If your testing gadget isn’t able to maintain a charge for three hours,
- A charging cord.
- A purse or bagpack.
- Abeverage or food (for your break).
